MR. EDWIN AGASA
Mr. Agasa is a socio-economist and is currently a Doctorate Candidate at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology where he is pursuing a Doctorate degree. He has already completed his course work and successfully defended his research proposal and the final seminar titled “The Impact of Security on Development”. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Criminology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology; both from the University of Nairobi.
Edwin has 17 years working experience having worked in the Government and Education sector. He also has worked in the Office of the Vice President as a Probation Officer. He has (9) nine years of lecturing experience and has been teaching Criminology, Security, Governance and Sociology units at University of Nairobi, Maseno University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kibabii University, The East African University, St. Paul's University, Kimathi University, Egerton University, Kenyatta University, Karatina University, Kenyatta University, Murang’a University and Maasai Mara University.
Mr. Agasa possesses excellent verbal, writing, interpersonal, research and training skills. He has published several books and journals that are being used both locally and internationally in institutions and universities such as Library of United States Congress, Yale University, Harvard University, Stanford University, University of California Berkeley, Cornell University to mention just a few.
